Find Peace After Birth Trauma: A Safe, Guided Process to Reclaim Your Well-being
Experience relief through this gentle, empowering process whether it’s in person or over zoom.
What is the 3-Step Rewind Process?
The 3-Step Rewind Process is a calming, structured approach designed to help individuals process and release the emotional distress associated with traumatic birth experiences. This is unlike traditional therapies and ensures you feel safe and in control every step of the way.
My Mission:
Every woman deserves to feel respected, heard, and in control during birth—whether it’s a natural delivery, an emergency, or anything in between.
A healthy baby is wonderful, but a healthy mother, emotionally and mentally, is also essential.

How It Works
The process unfolds over three sessions, each tailored to your unique needs:
Session 1:
Understanding and Exploration
In the first session, we explore how the birth experience has impacted your life.
If you’re not comfortable sharing details, that’s perfectly okay—you can simply share three words that describe how the experience feels to you.
This session also includes guided relaxation and an opportunity to envision how you’d like to feel moving forward.
Session 2:
Guided Relaxation and Reprocessing
Through deep relaxation techniques, we revisit the memory in a safe, secure way.
This step helps your brain to "re-file" the memory, shifting it from a heightened emotional state to one that feels neutral and processed.
Session 3:
Building Confidence and Resilience
The final session focuses on how you’d like to feel and live in the future.
We reflect on the positive changes you’ve experienced and help you build confidence and resilience to embrace life with joy and calm.

Common Fears or Concerns About the 3-Step Rewind Process
-
Absolutely not. This process doesn’t erase memories or numb emotions. Instead, it helps your brain process traumatic memories in a normal way.
How trauma affects the brain: Traumatic memories often remain "stuck" in the amygdala (the brain’s emotional centre), causing intense emotional reactions.
The 3-Step Rewind Process guides these memories to the hippocampus, where they are stored as neutral events from your past—not as ongoing distress.
-
The process is flexible and adaptable. Many clients feel relief after just one or two sessions, but every experience is unique.
We’ll work at your pace, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported. If needed, additional sessions can further build on your progress.
-
Not at all. The process is just as effective if you choose not to share details of your experience.
If you prefer, you can simply describe your feelings in three words. The process is entirely client-led, ensuring you feel safe and respected.
-
The process is designed to make revisiting the memory feel safe and manageable.
With guided relaxation, you can explore the experience without becoming overwhelmed. Many clients find they feel lighter and more at ease after each session.
-
No, this is not hypnotherapy, although there are aspects, like the guided relaxation that overlap, however this is nothing like TV and you remain in complete control throughout.
This process uses guided relaxation to help you feel calm and secure. You can pause, adjust, or stop at any time.
About Me
For the last 16 years, I’ve worked alongside women and families, helping them navigate the beautiful but often complex journey of parenthood.
Through my work in the sling library, breastfeeding groups, and beyond,
I’ve met so many incredible women whose birth experiences left them feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or even traumatised.
I understand these feelings personally.
After my first birth—although seemingly straightforward on paper
—I was left with unresolved emotions.
Despite talking about my story and writing it out for months,
I couldn’t shake the weight of it.
It wasn’t until I had an art therapy session that I felt the shift I needed to move forward.
This experience ignited my passion for helping others process and heal.
I’ve spent over 16 years developing my skills with Birthing Awareness,
completing trainings such as NLP for Birth-Workers,
Birthing for Blokes, and most recently, the 3-Step Rewind Process.
Why I Do This Work
I believe that every woman deserves to feel respected, heard, and in control during birth
—whether it’s a natural delivery, an emergency, or anything in between.
A healthy baby is of course wonderful, but it’s not enough if the mother is left feeling broken.
Birth trauma is something I’ve seen far too often in friends, family, and clients.
My mission is to help prevent these feelings through education and support,
but also to guide women who are carrying unresolved emotions so they can reclaim joy, confidence, and freedom.
My Approach
Whether through the 3-Step Rewind Process, Birth Art, or simply holding space for you to share,
my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
You are a powerful, amazing human being, and you deserve to live a life full of joy and connection
—not one overshadowed by the past.
Let’s start this journey together.
Imagine how much more pleasurable life can be, how much more you can enjoy your beautiful baby.
Don’t they deserve a mum who feels at her best, both physically and mentally?
